Doona is quite a revolution in mobility; it is an infant car seat and stroller in one! With just one movement you transform the carseat into a buggy. This means no more carrying your baby in a car seat! You don’t have to take a buggy anymore, so there is much more room in the car for other things.
Doona has been tested as car seat and buggy according European standards and meets the most stringent safety standards, it is even approved for use in a plane. All fabrics and materials are tested and certified. The insert of the car seat is made of bamboo, this material is extremely soft, breathable, antibacterial and hypoallergenic. It’s no surprise that Doona won the Baby Innovation Award in Cologne.
Doona can be used in a car with belt or on an ISOFIX base and is available from January 2015 in black, turquoise, red, beige and gray. The only criticism I have is that the Doona invites you to leave your child in the car seat too long, so in my opinion the manufacturer Simple Parenting should warn parents for that!Doona is toch wel een revolutie in mobiliteit; een baby autostoel en buggy ineen! Doona tover je, door één hendel in te duwen, om tot een buggy. Dit betekent: nooit meer sjouwen met de autostoel! Het meenemen van een buggy wordt overbodig, waardoor er meer ruimte in de auto ontstaat voor andere dingen. De Doona is als autostoel en als buggy getest conform de Europese norm en voldoet aan de strengste veiligheidsnormen, hij is zelfs goedgekeurd om in het vliegtuig te gebruiken. Alle stoffen en materialen zijn getest en gecertificeerd. Het verkleinkussentje van het stoeltje is gemaakt van bamboe, dit materiaal voelt zeer zacht aan, is ademend, antibacterieel en antiallergisch. Niet voor niets won deze Doona in Keulen de Baby Innovation Award.
Doona is zowel met de gordel als met een Isofix base in de auto te gebruiken. Verkrijgbaar vanaf januari 2015 in het zwart, turkoois, rood, beige en grijs. Het enige puntje van kritiek is dat de Doona uitnodigt om je baby te lang in een autostoel te laten zitten, dus naar mijn mening zou fabrikant Simple Parenting consumenten hier wel voor moeten waarschuwen!
