‘If you wake up in the morning, Pooh’ says Piglet, what is the first thing you say to yourself?” ‘What’s for breakfast’ anwers Pooh. ‘What do you say to yourself, Piglet?’ ‘I say, I wonder what exciting is going to happen today.’ Pooh nods carefully. ‘That is the same’ he says.
This is one of the many wisdoms of Winnie the Pooh who experiences a lot of adventures with his friends Christopher Robin, Tigger, Piglet, Kanga, Roo and Eeyore.
This lovable bear was the main character in the stories of A.A. Milne in 1926 and the beautiful illustrations were from Ernest Shephard. In 1961 the rights were sold to Walt Disney and they changed the drawings of Shephard to the bear we know today: a little chubby and with larger eyes.
This year Winnie the Pooh celebrates its 90th anniversary and despite of his age this bear is still the cuddly toy of so many baby’s and toddlers. That’s why you find these drawings on so many toys and babystuff, such as in the latest collection of Anel Baby Goods. The new collection is named Wishing Pooh and consists of duvet covers, knitted blankets and sheets, lights, bathcapes, sleeping bags, pillows and even wall stickers in fresh mint and grey.

Dit is één van de vele wijsheden van Winnie the Pooh die samen met zijn vrienden Janneman Robinson, Teigetje, Knorretje, Kanga, Roe en Iejoor mooie avonturen beleeft. Deze lieve beer was de hoofdpersoon in de verhalen van A.A. Milne in 1926 en de prachtige illustraties waren van Ernest Shephard. In 1961 werden de rechten verkocht aan Walt Disney die de tekeningen van Shephard bewerkte tot de beer die we nu kennen: een beetje mollig en met grotere ogen.
Dit jaar viert Winnie the Pooh zijn 90e verjaardag en ondanks zijn hoge leeftijd is deze beer nog steeds de knuffel van veel kleine kinderen. Vandaar dat deze tekeningen op veel babyspullen zijn terug te vinden, zoals bij Anel Babygoods. Anel heeft nu een nieuwe serie gemaakt onder de naam Wishing Pooh. Deze collectie in fris mint en grijstinten bestaat uit dekbedovertrekken, gebreide dekentjes en lakentjes, klamboes, lampjes, badcapes, slaapzakken, kussentjes en zelfs muurstickers.
